BenJarvus Green-Ellis injury: Bengals RB has played with broken thumb since Week 2

Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis has had measured success this year, but there’s a reason why his start to the season was slightly off pace. The running back revealed to that has been playing with a broken thumb this season, as well as dealing with an ankle injury.

Locker appeared to hurt himself late in the second quarter while trying to hand the ball off to Chris Johnson. He spent time being evaluated on the sideline before limping into the locker room for treatment. He is questionable to return to the game.

He was 4-of-9 for 24 yards and threw an interception before being injured. His Titans trail the winless Jaguars, 13-7, late in the second quarter.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, who signed with the Titans as a free agent back in March, is filling in for Locker under center. A Harvard graduate, Fitzpatrick spent time as a starter with the St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills. He started the game 5-of-5 and threw a touchdown to pull the Titans Chicago Blackhawks Cheap Jerseys back into the game.

Locker has been solid when healthy this season. He’s completed 62 percent of his passes, thrown 1,232 yards and has eight touchdowns to four interceptions.

Davis was hurt when he was hit as he attempted to catch the ball in the second quarter. At first it looked like he fumbled the ball, but it was ruled that he did not have possession. Davis did not remain on the field and initially appeared uninjured, but walked to the sideline where he was examined by trainers before leaving the field.
